On February 15th, 2023 in honor of Black History Month Ms. Gooney presented PS 179's first Wax Museum Experience. Students dressed up as and embodied change makers in America and even were activated by the "touch of a button". Their peers presented information on the person they chose to embody. The best part is that students of PS 179 from all other grades were able to come and visit and learn about new figures in history.
